Will my boots still have functionality?

°bootcap®’s design allows for full functionality of your ski boot while skiing, standing, walking, hiking, or riding chairlifts. For skiers that constantly adjust their buckles during the day, no problem, °bootcap® won’t interfere.

Will my °bootcap® fit my boots?

Yes. °bootcap® Kids is one size and fits all junior ski boots (14.5–21.5). Grown-up boots? That’s what the original °bootcap® is for.

How do I attach it to my boots?

Is there a right & left °bootcap®?

Yes. When installed correctly, the "°bootcap®" logo should be on the right boot, 'spoke' logo on left boot.

Should the 'bootcap® touch the top of the jig when installing?

No. The area of your ski boot that is covered by the spacing jig is where ski bindings make contact with your boot. This area needs to remain uncovered so your bindings operate correctly. °bootcap® should NOT encroach in this area.

Constantly Cold!

I’ve had frozen toes for years, even with the use of electric boot heaters. I use BootGloves as well but they don’t insulate where the real problem is as well as my new boot caps do. My son tested with one on one boot and the other boot without. He felt a definite difference. Great idea bootcaps!!

Love them and A/B tested - they work!

No rush to take my boots off

I can keep my boots on, unbuckled of course, while in the lodge. No need to get my boots off ASAP to rub warmth and feeling back into them.

BootCap is a game changer! My feet and toes stay warm and comfortable. One of the best ski equipment purchases I’ve made.

As advertised

Full disclosure: I continue to use my Hotronic battery-heated socks in addition to the Bootcap. I have Raynaud's Syndrome, and I need the socks to keep from toes from going numb in a ski boot. The Bootcap, happily, adds another layer of heat-trapping insulation. Instead of my toes being cold but not frozen with my heated socks only, my toes with the Bootcap are actually comfortable in my boots.

Game Changers

Better than boot gloves

I am a ski instructor and I spend long days on the slopes. Previously I used the neoprene boot gloves but they get shredded, look terrible, can’t access boot buckles and worst of all snow gets between them and boots so your foot is pack in ice.
I converted to boot caps and it solves a lot of these issues. They are as warm as the gloves but on frigid days my toes still get cold. But they are better than nothing. I think the price is high for what you are getting and feel they would sell more at a more reasonable price

Great product

I’ve tried nearly everything for cold toes, and can confirm boot cap is the best solution I’ve found. I am able to ski days I know otherwise would have been way too cold, thanks to the bootcap. Highly recommended.

Skiing All Day!

I ordered these caps with a fair amount of skepticism… how on earth can a tiny bit of foam actually keep my toes warm not to mention how’s it going to truly stay on through the trees, powder and cold temps. I live in Utah and ski a fair amount. I have used these a few times now and all I have to say is one word, WOW! Highly recommend these and probably won’t ever have ski boots without these caps ever again!

Absolute game changer

Absolute game changer. I figured the boot cap would help keep toes somewhat warm, it makes sense that a thin piece of plastic has no insulating properties. But my oh my do these really make a difference. I have never night skied and not gotten frozen toes. I would have top, go to the lodge and spend some time warming them back up every time I night skied. Now my toes don’t feel cold, and I don’t need to stop for a toe warming break. I think everyone should have a pair of boot caps it 100% works and is the best value for a boot warming solution.

Definite Improvement in Warmth and Comfort!

I tried the ‘Bootcap Challenge’ by putting one Bootcap on and leaving the other off and skied a couple days that way in varying temperatures, (20-30F). Definite difference between the two, in that the Bootcap side stayed simply consistent comfortable temp, while the uncapped side varied from OK to cold. Will definitely install the second cap as this is a better upgrade than a similarly priced pair of compression socks. Amazing that just covering the toe of the boot can make such a difference! Easy installation and good instructional videos available. Well worth the modest price!

I use heated socks when I ski. I have forgotten to plug them in a few times this season. The BootCap keeps my toes warm without my heated socks. When it’s really cold the BootCap along with my heated socks let me ski all day and not get cold. I recommend these to anyone whose feet get cold. They are worth it

These are awesome - finally something that works.

I’m a huge fan. I’ve skied these now at -13F but subzero temps for at least 5 days and my feet stayed nice and warm.

I'm a patroller, and I’ve had multiple mild frostbite episodes over the years and as a result find it hard to keep my toes warm. These solve the problem.

I use them in conjunction with boot heaters and I’d have to say that my feet are not just “not cold”, they are toasty warm even with boot heaters set fairly low. Wow!

They work! 1.5hr increase in my avg time on mountain

Chronic sufferer of ice cold toes while skiing here— it’s the one and only thing that gets me off the mountain. After just hitting day 30 for the season (it’s currently Jan 26), Bootcaps has made my average hours for the season increase by 1.5 HOURS (last season I hit 72 days, avg @ 4hr— currently at 5.5hr avg).

From endless powder in Niseko at 5°F-15°F to ultra-wet days in Washington, Bootcaps numbed the numb pain.

Work great on skates

Normally I can’t feel my toes skiing or skating and have just accepted that as normal for years. Got them for Christmas and they have made a huge difference skating on the river in Alaska

Easy to install. Fits perfectly and does keep my toes much warmer.

It finally snowed enough for my toes to feel a difference!

I only installed one boot cap because I wanted to see the difference in how my toes felt on the mountain. The toes without the cap were a lot colder than the boot cap side! My toes are always cold. I had doubts, but they actually worked way better than with no boot caps! I recommend them as a cheaper version than heated boots! Super easy install.
