I only installed one boot cap because I wanted to see the difference in how my toes felt on the mountain. The toes without the cap were a lot colder than the boot cap side! My toes are always cold. I had doubts, but they actually worked way better than with no boot caps! I recommend them as a cheaper version than heated boots! Super easy install.
I read mostly positive reviews on reddit etc. But was skeptical. My wife and I both confirm they work. We use DaleBoot custom ski boots. Her boots are small and mine are fairly large. They fit both boots just fine. It seems to create an air pocket between the boot and the bootcap. One of the liftys at Alta Ski said they work for him while skiing but not as much when he is just standing in the snow at the lift with his skis off. Its for sure 10 degree difference at the toes.
I was skeptical, but my atomic Hawx boots are so cold just in the toes. I decided it was worth a try.
I was suprised just how well it worked. In a day under zero degrees. They make enough of a warmth difference for at least 4 more runs worth of skiing before I get cold. Does exactly what it says.
The boot caps did make a big difference in foot temp. And a bonus is the bright orange makes my feet easy for my students to see my feet.
The extra layer of insulation really helped in the single digit temps this weekend. Definitely recommend

My first day with these was literally the coldest day of the year so far. -6 temperature with a real feel of -26. If there was a day to challenge the Bootcap, this was it. Normally, it would have been Mattress Mountain on a day like this, but these made it at least bearable. Went in to warm up after 3 runs several times through out the day, but they worked well enough to get 12 runs in on a day I probably would have stayed in bed. Looking forward to seeing how they work on a normal day.
it was to install, and I do feel like they keep my toes warm. I would definitely recommend them to other cold feet folks.
Installation was incredibly easy. Skied today with a temperature of 0 degrees and a wind chill of -22 degrees. Was able to ski for 4 hours before I started to feel the cold creeping in. My wife was in rentals and was complaining about cold toes within the first hour. I would have to say they helped greatly today. It's a great product and worked as advertised. Would definitely recommend these as an upgrade.
Love Bootcap! Significantly warmer feet while out in the cold. Skied in 10 defrees F with a feel like temperture of -4 and warm toes all day. Before my toes would be what got cold first. Now they dont get cold at all. Definitely recommned
This is the second season for me wearing BootCaps. I tried these before I went to heated socks. I never needed the socks. My feet were noticeably warmer. They stick really well. I think you have to replace when you get new boots. I hope they start making a slightly smaller size.
Probably one of the best things I've gotten for skiing. Bootcaps kept my toes noticeably warmer, so these were a huge win. Great customer service, too.
I've been using these for a few ski days now and they really work. I had problems installing on of them because the adhesive all came off with the paper but I was able to fix it. Other than that, the install is very simple and so far they work great. I haven't tested them on really cold weather but I used them twice now for first tracks and it was in the single digits. I bought two pair of these recently for my wife and I. Actually used them last week for the first time in VT when it was -5 to 1 degrees out - brutally cold. And they actually worked great! My toes are generally the first to get really cold and in that weather it was actually my face instead that made me head in after a few runs. I would def recommend. I know it sounds weird to look at something so innocuous and think it has a significant effect on heat, but these really do. Would def recommend!
Tried them out this past weekend when the feels like was -22 one day. Rest of the time is was between 5-17 degrees. Can confidently say that for the first time my toes didn’t go numb! Highly recommend. Also the bright pink color kept getting compliments:)
I got these 3 weeks ago and finally had the opportunity to test them. Last Thursday I was at 7 Springs for a snow day. 11 degrees with 38mph wind gusts. As cold as that was my toes were very comfortable. Yeah they work.
As for installation be careful while pulling the adhesive protectors off.
Big fan of these, toes never get cold and people always throwing out compliments. Fits the three-piece boot perfectly with easy installation. Recommend to anybody who has ever skied ever!

Being from Innsbruck, Austria I was very happy to hear about international shipping and I am now even happier to have warm toes in race boots for longer, which I wasn't sure was possible without expensive electronic heating elements. Great customer service too!
I purchased boot caps and had the corners sticking out. I contacted the company and they immediately told me to order another pair for free with free shipping.
The second pair adhered much better but one corner isn't sticking tightly to the boot.
So I think going forward, there should be extra adhesive on all the corners of the cap. But the exceptional customer service completely blew me away!!
